Scientific research has proven that consuming more than one alcoholic drink per day will increase your chances of getting breast cancer by 25%. This makes the consumption of alcohol very undesirable with regard to the prevention of breast cancer. To prevent breast cancer please ensure that you reduce your daily intake of alcohol considerably or stop consuming alcohol entirely.
Eat more vegetables and fruits
Vegetables are rich in phytochemicals. These naturally occurring chemicals help the body to prevent cancer. Fruits such as citrus fruits and berries also possess certain unique properties that help the body to prevent cancer. Eat good, clean and raw vegetables as much as possible. Cooking your vegetables destroys the phytochemicals that helps in preventing cancer. Vegetables that have been known to be rich in phtyochemicals includes- cabbage, carrot, sprouts, Brussels, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, kale and spinach
3. Exercise More
This is a simple and cost effective way for preventing cancer. All you have to do is a few cardio exercises or take a nice walk for forty five minutes. As simple as they seem, these exercises can actually save your life.
4. Try to Avoid Estrogen
Numerous studies on breast cancer has shown that your body’s exposure to a high level of estrogen is the leading cause for breast cancer. This means that the number one prevention measure you should take is to avoid chemicals which have a high level of estrogen. These chemicals include pollutants and chemical pesticides.
Breast cancer is indeed a danger to all women. Do not become too obsessed for preventing cancer. It can be done without causing a lot of inconvenience to you and your family. Just follow these simple ways to prevent breast cancer and you are bound to live a longer, healthier life.
