With both Black Friday and Cyber Monday already behind us, we’re deep into Christmas shopping season. But don’t panic yet if you haven’t gotten the tea lover on your list a gift yet. Here are a variety of tea gifts from the novel to useful to indulgent for your favorite tea drinker.
Travel Tea Mug
For the tea lover that also loves to travel, or just wants a cup of tea on their daily commute, the options for tea on-the-go are getting better all the time. Check out these two travel mugs for steeping tea, keeping it warm, avoiding a mouthful of loose leaves, and packing it in your bag.
Or try Tea-To-Go ($35) where the steeping basket is on the bottom.
Both are made of glass so they’re BPA free and can hold hot liquids. Uber convenient!
Fun At-Home Tea Accessories
If you’ve never seen one of these, the bottom-dispensing teapot ($18) is super cool and is sure to create buzz when you’re having people over for tea.
Not that anyone needs another loose leaf tea strainer, but sometimes you do. And what better one than this which comes with its own bowl to catch drips and is dishwasher safe!
If your tea fan already has every tea gadget and gizmo, then a book may be in order. For Camellia sinensis devotees, the highly rated Tea: History, Terroirs, Varieties is a valuable resource.
But if your tea drinker is more into herbs as teas, then this book on the uses of herbal teas may be more their style.
If your tea lover has never had a matcha cookie, or is already a huge fan, these delicate matcha-white chocolate cookie sandwiches are just what the holidays ordered.
If you’re needing something small and lightweight, tea variety packs are great when the tea lover in your life likes to try new teas, or when you’re not sure what to get. If you know he or she is in need of help with digestion, Pu-erh tea is your best choice–I like the Bana Pu-erh Variety Pack. If your tea fan is also planning on a new diet or a weight loss New Year’s Resolution, Belight Tea might be a good choice for them to help manage their appetite.
Good luck with your holiday shopping. And, if anyone is wanting to buy yours truly a holiday gift from this list, I’ll take one of the travel tea mugs.
