Guest post, or should I say image, today on the Chakras, which is kinda fun for me because my yoga class has centered on chakras a lot lately.
There’s one common misconception about chakras that a lot of people fall in to that keeps them from true chakra balancing: they believe that because the chakras are numbered and ascend up the body that the “higher” level chakras are better and more important than the lower level chakras.
Some people feel this is true just because of the way they are numbered, other people believe that the higher level chakras are more important because they deal with more spiritual concerns, and that spiritual concerns are more important than material concerns.
The fact of the matter is for a human to be fully integrated and working at their best they need to have total chakra balancing.
They need to pay equal attention to both their higher and lower chakras, both their material and their spiritual, if they aim to be truly healthy and balanced individuals.
